When will we receive our images?
I ask for up to 12 weeks to deliver a full wedding gallery. For any type of portrait session, I ask for up to 3 weeks. I am known for a quick turnaround time, so I like to get your photos back to you ASAP. Need your photos done in a specific amount of time? No problem. I now offer "rush fees" so you can get your photos right away.
I have the cutest dog ever. Can I bring him to our session?
Absolutely! Pets are encouraged at every single session. I always recommend having a friend come that can keep your dog busy when we are done with them.
What if my child won't sit still, or is tired/cranky the day of the session?
As a parent myself, I know how kids can be. During the planning process, we'll work together to plan your session around naptimes, during your child's most cheerful time of day. Rest assured, if your kid is having a really off day, it's okay to just give me a call so we discuss rescheduling options. If you're concerned about your child sitting still, don't be! We love working with wiggleworms, and have tricks for handling all that glorious energy that comes with being a kid.
What if the weather is bad the day of my outdoor session?
If you're planning a location session, it's natural to think about inclement weather. In general, if the weather is bad, we will reschedule (or decide on an alternate/indoor location).
What areas do you serve?
Northern Kentucky. Tri-state area.
How soon should I schedule my session?
I recommended reserving your session as soon as possible, as I accept a limited number of sessions weekly. During peak seasons, my clients often schedule several months ahead of time. Depending on your schedule and mine, we may be able to fit in something on short notice, and I do typically reserve time in my schedule for less predictable things like headshots and newborn sessions.
What type of photography do you specialize in?
I focus on weddings, senior sessions, nature, scenery, pets, and event photography. I also offer photography services tailored to motorcycles and lifestyle shoots.
Do you photograph events?
Yes! I capture weddings, parties, nonprofit events, and community gatherings. I also offer photo booth rentals for events, complete with a custom event overlay.
Can I choose the location for my photoshoot?
Absolutely! I love photographing at beautiful spots like Gorman Farms, Evans Orchard, and Devou Park, but I’m always open to new locations and travel options.
Do you offer digital or printed photos?
Both! Clients receive a private online gallery with high-resolution digital images, and professional-quality prints can be ordered directly from my gallery store. All images are stored for up to 1 year
Who owns the rights to the photos?
As the photographer, I retain the copyright to all images, but clients receive personal usage rights for printing and sharing. Please do not alter or apply filters to the photos. When sharing on social media, I kindly ask that you credit/tag Melissa McQueen Media Photography.
How much does a session or event cost?
Pricing varies based on the type of session or event. Portrait and senior sessions start at an affordable introductory rate, and event photography are custom quoted based on time, location, and needs. Photo booth rentals are available at special pricing through November 1. Please reach out for a personalized quote.

Acceptance of Terms By accessing and using the Melissa McQueen Media website (referred to as "the page"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the page.

Ownership and Copyright The owner of Melissa McQueen Media (referred to as "the Owner") retains full ownership and copyright of all content, including but not limited to images, text, graphics, logos, and design elements, displayed on the page. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by the Owner.

Image Usage and Alterations The Owner holds the copyright to all images displayed on the page. These images are protected by international copyright laws and may not be altered, modified, or used outside the scope of the print agreement without the prior express permission of the Owner. This includes, but is not limited to, alterations such as filters, additions, subtractions, or adaptations. Any unauthorized use or alteration of the images is strictly prohibited.

Photographer's Liability In the event that the Photographer is unable to provide photographic services due to illness, mechanical breakdown, accident, acts of God, or any other cause beyond their control, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to secure the services of another professional photographer to fulfill their obligations. If a suitable replacement cannot be found, the Photographer will refund any fees paid by the Client and will not be liable for any further damages beyond the amount of the agreement. The Photographer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the images due to equipment malfunction or other unforeseen circumstances.

Archiving of Digital Files The availability of any images beyond the final date of the viewing album cannot be guaranteed. The Client acknowledges that optical, magnetic, electronic, and any other media used for storing digital data are inherently unstable. Therefore, the Client releases the Photographer, their contractors, and representatives from any liability for any claims, damages, or costs arising from the media supplied by the Photographer becoming unusable. All digital files containing any images, created by or on behalf of the Client, will be deleted or destroyed within six weeks after the expiration date of the album.
